Dear new and returning students,

Welcome to UNSW. This year UNSW celebrates sixty years as one of Australia’s foremost international research intensive universities and as the university of choice for over 190,000 graduates.

I am keen to help students fully understand and take advantage of the resources available to them at UNSW. O-Week (23-27 February) helps new students to get to know the university campuses with myStart activities being very useful to start your life as a university student. Week Zero (2-6 March) helps reorient continuing students through reStart activities. (See story 3,below on myStart/reStart for links to details of available activities and how to book.)

Later this year Low Down will come to you via UNSW TV, adding a new and exciting dimension to University news (see story 15).

As always please contact me with any feedback at pvcstudents@unsw.edu.au. I am particularly interested in your impressions of myStart and reStart activities.
